One of the messages in lifting a Finance function skill set towards ‘adding value’ in the book Bean Soup – Beyond Bean Counting contends business partnership and support is a team effort. It therefore includes the likes of Payroll, Accounts receivable, and Accounts payable. A team with good communication will find that value can come from the most tenured senior Finance manager to the most recent university graduate and accounts clerk.
